All New Creta 2020 getting CNG kit Installed in India - Is It True?

 Recently we saw a brand new Creta which was launched earlier this year in India fitted with a CNG kit in a video on youtube. Yes, you read it right, a Hyundai Creta fitted with a CNG kit. Hyundai Creta is a mid-sized SUV that directly competes with Kia seltos and MG hector. Creta is a very popular car and has received over 1.5 lakh bookings already for the 2020 version. Creta is officially available in petrol and diesel option only.

Installing CNG kits in cars is a very popular practice in India as it is cheaper than petrol and also returns good fuel efficiency. But a lot of dealers fit CNG kits which are of lower quality which increases the risk of casualties. One should always check if the dealer is fitting RTO approved CNG kit or not.

The video shows all the components that are fitted in the aftermarket sequential kit of creta. The video shows the fit and finish of every component fitted under the hood of creta.

The CNG tank is fitted in the boot of Creta as all the sequential kits. The video also shows the knob to switch between petrol and CNG. It also has the CNG level indicator in it.
