Recently, Tata motors confirmed that they are going to launch the Turbo varient of there premium hatchback Tata Altroz on 6th January, 2021. Already a lot of cars are launching in the next month that is January,2021. To make this more exciting Tata has officially confirmed that they will unveil The Gravitas on Republic Day, and is likely to be launched in February,2021.

The Tata Gravitas was expected to be launched in 2020, but due to ongoing pandemic and resultant Lockdown in India has postponed the launch of Tata Gravitas to 2021. We all are not at all unknown to the Tata Gravitas, we have seen it in the Auto Expo 2020, and also in various spy shots of the car has been circulated. So what is different in this unveiling. In Auto Expo we show the production version of the car, but now we will see the final version which will have some changes.
The Gravitas is likely to be offered in 6- seater and a 7-seater option. The Gravitas will sit higher than the Harrier in TATA's lineup and will become TATA's flagship product in India. Talking about the Interior we will get to see new upholstery inside and a new dashboard trim. And a lot of equipment from Harrier will become standard in the Gravitas. The 7.0-Inch instrument cluster and 8.8-inch infotainment system, voice assistant and JBL sound system will be carried from the Harrier.

The Gravitas will sit above the Harrier in the lineup same as the Hector Plus sits over the Hector. No, it will not compete to the Fortuner or Endeavour. The car will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel Engine which will produce 170 BHP of power with 350 NM of torque. This engine will be mated with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
In terms of exterior also the car will look same as the Harrier with major changes on the rear of the car. The car will launch with the premier of 1 lakh Tata Harrier.
