A Bengaluru-based Indian company, Pravaig Dynamics has been trying and testing its own electric car for last 9 years and recently unveiled its first electric car the Extinction MK1, by the specifications it seems to be India's direct competition to Tesla. Praviag Dynamics was developing the car for the past nine years and has put in a lot of hard work to bring the MK1 to the level it is today. In the event, the company told that the car will be initially provided exclusively on a lease basis for Premium commercial fleet operators in Delhi and Bengaluru followed by other metropolitan cities, with optional chauffeur services. No information about the pricing was disclosed in the event.
(image credits - Pravaig Dynamics)The company has claimed that the car has a 5-star safety rating, which is seen in very fewer cars available in the Indian car market. For the first year after launch, Pravaig has a production target of about 2500 units. The MK1 has a minimal amount of exterior staying yet an Aerodynamic design. The front of MK1 is equipped with a continuously running single strip LED DRL between LED projector Headlamps. The car has large 17-inch Alloy wheels with a sloping roofline. The rear of the car consists of a single strip LED taillamps and a Pravaig Logo.
The luxurious design of MK1 is also extended in the Interior of the MK1, especially to the rear seat. The rear seat of the car has Individual AC vents, thunderbolt charging ports, a 12-inch mirror as well as big tray tables for working. The rear seat of MK1 is reliable up to 165 degrees. There will also be a high-end air purifier and a glass pane division between the front and rear seats for added privacy.

The battery of the MK1 will be placed on the floor of the car. The capacity of the battery will be 96kWh with a density of 155 Wh/kg which makes it the second most dense car battery after the top of the line Tesla Model S which has a density of 160Wh/kg. The car will be powered by an electric motor producing 150Bhp of power and a whopping 2400 NM of torque and an acceleration of 0-100 KMPH in just 5.4 seconds. The range of the car claimed by Pravaig is 504 KM which is the highest among all the electric cars sold in India. For example, Hyundai Kona has a range of 450 Km and the MG ZS EV has a range of 340 KM. However, at the top speed of the car, which is 196 KMPH, the range of the car will be below 200 KM.
