Tata Altroz Turbo Coming in 2021 - Tata launched the Altroz in Jan 2020, in the premium hatchback segment. The Altroz competes with market leaders like Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza, Volkswagen Polo, Honda Jazz and Hyundai I20 which got the 3rd generation launched recently. The Altroz was first shown as the 45X concept at the Auto Expo 2018. The production version of the premium hatchback was first unveiled at the 89th Geneva Motor Show in March 2019.

Why the safest turbo car? -
The Altroz has the biggest USP is having 5-star safety rating of Global NCAP for adult occupants. Although the car scored only a 3-star rating for child occupants. In term of Safety, Altroz is safest premium hatchback of India. It gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and CSC, reverse parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat mounts, Driver and co-driver seatbelt remainder, and impact sensing auto door lock as standard safety features.
Tata Altroz Engine options -
The Tata Altroz Turbo will be powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol engine which is directly sourced from the Nexon turbo. This engine produces 110 PS of power and 150 Nm of torque. This engine will be mated by five-speed manual transmission and the recent spy shots of the car show that it might also get a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission which will not rather be a dry clutch unit. We expect the Tata Altroz Turbo to be priced around 10 lakhs ex-showroom.
