An interesting update for all Tata fans, Tata is bringing back its old legend car, Tata Safari, in a new version with astonishing features. Tata retitled its New 7-seater SUV series, the bigger version of Tata Harrier i.e. Tata Gravitas as Tata Safari. The Gravitas will be called Safari in in it's production version.
Tata recently announced this good news on its social media handles as you can see in the image given below. The poster clearly indicates that the brand new version of Tata Safari will hit the showrooms this month and booking will also start soon.
A quick look at the history of Tata Safari :-
The first generation of Tata Safari was launched in 1998 with a powerful 2.0-litre diesel engine. After the great success of its first generation. Tata introduced its second generation in 2012 which was knows as Safari Strome. This attractive Tata Safari is famous for its muscular looks, great build quality and powerful engine but Tata still discontinued it in 2019. Recently, after 14 months of its discontinue, Tata surprisingly announced to bring back its the third generation of Tata Safari.
The New Tata Safari :-
The third generation Tata Safari has three rows i.e. 6-7 seater SUV. Since it the bigger version of Tata harrier it will cost more than Harrier but it will also get more features than Harrier and more safety features will be standard.
This amazing Tata Safari gives a tough competition to the Next-generation Mahindra XUV 500, MG Hector Plus and 7-seater Hyundai Creta.
Engine :-
- 2.0-litre Kyrotec diesel engine
- Generates a power of 170bhp and 350nm torque
- This engine is mated with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
