Since the launch in June 2019, MG Hector was very well equipped and was a value for money product. But still there were some features that were missing in the Hector. In 2021 updates MG has tried to address all these issues and also given some tweaks to exterior, keeping the mechanical part of car completely unchanged.
Hector was MG's first car in Indian market and made the company stand as a known car manufacturer in the market. MG Hector manages to sell approx 3000 units every month and approx 40,000 Hector's are on Indian roads. As more and more manufacturers are entering Indian markets with their best products, it is necessary for MG to keep the updating Hector to stand strong against the competition. The MG Hector Facelift is launched at 12.89 lakhs.
Updates given to MG Hector Facelift -
Talking about the exterior, MG has given very few but highly required updates to the car in terms of exterior. The car was called under tired since the launch as the 17-inch wheels looked very small on the car and were not that appealing, finally MG has given the Hector 18-inch wheels. In front now we get to see a thermopressed concave grille with chrome inserts. In the side we get piano Black finished ORVM's and Glossy black applique with chromo inserts on Doors. We also get a dual tone colour scheme on the exterior with two colour options.
Coming to interior, the most significant change we can see is the black and beige dual done interior which gives the Hector more airy feel in the interior. The Hector now gets ventilated seats at the front, Wireless charging pad, auto-dimming inside rear view mirror and the best MG Hector now supports Hindi commands.
