Ather's Hosur plant in action! - starts production of electric scooters

 December 2019 me Ather Energy ne Tamil Nadu government ke sath ek MoU( memorandum of understanding) sign kiya tha. Is MoU ke ander Ather Energy ek 4000 sq feet ka electric scooters production ka plant banane wala tha aur is plant ke liye Ather Energy ne 635 crores ka budget plan kiya tha. 

Is production plant ko Tamil Nadu government ki nayi electic vehicles ki policy se bhi support mil rha hai. Is policy ke according Tamil Nadu government, state me 1,00,000 EV's annually produce karna chahti hai jo ki future me 5,00,000 tak bhi extend kara jaa sakta hai. Is policy se state me 4000 new job create hogi jo ki employment ko bhi fayda degi. Is production plant ki opening pe Tamilnadu government ki nodel agency for investment promotion and single window facilitation ne Ather Energy ko badhai di.

Capacity of Hosur plant -

Ather Energy ne Hosur plant pe electric scooters ka production start kar diya hai. Last year is electric scooter company ne apne Whitefield, Bangalore ke plant ka production last year December me rok diya tha. Is Bangalore wale plant pe monthly sirf 300 units ka hi production ho pata tha. But aab Hosur plant ki starting ke baad Ather Energy ka monthly capacity 3000 units ka ho chuka hai jo ki Bangalore wale plant se 10 times hai. Aur Ather is production ko 2022 tak 8000 units per month karna chahti hai. 

Future plans -

Ather energy filhal 2 scooters offer karta hai - Ather 450X aur Ather 450 Plus. Iske alawa Ather ne collector edition vehicle series 1 ko bhi unveil kar diya hai. Ye series India ki phli scooter series hai jisme hume transparent panels dekhne ko milte hai.

Is ke sath Ather energy 2021 ki ending se phle 20 nayi cities me apni services launch karne ki planning kar rha hai. Ye expansion ke second phase ka hissa hai, jisme Ather 16 nayi cities me apna scooter Ather 450X ko launch karega.
