MoRTH (Ministery of road transport and highways) ne December 2020 me safety ki taraf ek aur kadam badte hue ek notification release kiya tha. Usme MoRTH ne bola tha ki car me front me compulsory dual airbags ( driver aur co-driver dono ke liye) hone chaiye.
Aur finally MoRTH ne iss notification ko rule banake release kiya jisme ki MoRTH ne front me dual airbags ko mandatory safety equipment of car me include kiya hai. Aur 1 April 2021 se cars me front me dual airbags hone mandatory hai.

Abhi tak jitne bhi cars aati thi usme hume front me sirf Driver seat pe hi airbag milte hai aur top variants me dual front airbags aate the lekin 1 April se nayi gaadi me front me dual airbags hone mandatory hai. Aur purani gaadi me bhi 31 August 2021 se front me dual airbags hone chaiye.
Rule :-
“Vehicles manufactured on and after the April 1, 2021, in the case of new models, and August 31, 2021, in the case of existing models, shall be fitted with airbags for the person occupying the front seat, other than the driver.”
Benefits :-
Ye MoRTH ki taraf se ek bahut acha kadam hai kyuki isse gaadi me front passenger ki safety aur badh jaegi. Aur isse accidents me injuries/death kum hogi. Isse passenger ke saath saath car ki safety bhi increase hogi.

Impact on price :-
Iss naya rule se car ki price increase ho jaegi. Hume car ki price me Rs 4000-7000 tak increase ho satki hai. Hume 1 April 2021 se aane vali nayi cars me Rs 4000-7000 jayda price dekhne ko mil satki hai.
Hume abhi Electronic braking distribution, high-speed alerts, ABS, front seat belt reminders, Rear parking sensors and manual override for central locking jasie safety features, car ki mandatory Safety equipment me aate hai.
