But a Man named Manpreet Singh (aslo known as Gola pagi) from Punjab took out the stock engine of Royal Enfield Himalayan Chassis and replaced this engine with 400cc parallel-twin engine from his old bike, Suzuki GS400e bike. This is now a carborated bike. This may be the world's first ROYAL ENFIELD HIMALAYAN with TWIN PARALLEL ENGINE!
According to Gola pagi, this 400cc parallel twin 4miles/head engine from Suzuki GS400e is approx 35years old (1983-84 model ). This engine is capable of providing a power of 40bhp and 28nm torque.
This engine is mated with 6-speed manual gearbox.
According to the video uploaded by the YouTuber, Abhinav Bhatt, after this transplant this bike providing a very smooth and amazing experience while riding. Its sounds is amazing, angry and attractive. He even said that it easily and smoothly maintain the 40km/h speed with 6-speed gear even without any vibrations in the engine.
Yes, it's now an amazing modification of the bike. Even the engine is old and not providing 35-40 bhp power but the fact is it is the dual parallel-twin engine and also making a power 30 bhp. The tachometer is not working on the bike. This engine is heavier than the stock engine of Royal Enfield but it didn't affect the dynamics of the bike.
According to the Gola pagi, the bike can easily touch the 150 km/hr speed on the highway. He even took the bike to Shimla and checked it by riding 700-800 km and checked it till 1500-2000 km. The bike is providing 25 kmpl mileage. Gola bhai done this amzing experiment during lockdown. There are various still to be done in bike.
